I met Joan and David on a service station, somewhere north of the Cote d'Azur. They had travelled over 2K kilometres on an original 60 year old Bultaco and riding pillion. Inspirational! They were returning to Barcelona.
Early morning on lake Geneva, a shadow of a rowing boat. The image was processed at 50,000 kelvin and turned upside down.
It's a small world. On a campsite in St Tropez I met two Dutch Buskers who happened to live in Amsterdam. Marie & Annelies. For the pleasure of their company we wondered the streets of Amsterdam finding the light.
I'm fascinated with voyeurism as you can probably tell. The result of years spent on stakeouts in a former occupation I believe.
Mistral Winds Cote D'Azure 2017 and Solarisation
These photographs taken in August 2017 depict the retreating glassiers on either side of the Aiguille du Midi in the Alps. The first photograph is taken above the chalets in Chamonix. The Midi is in the fog as a cable car descends from it and the last image is taken on the Italian side of the Mount Blanc tunnel. It would be interesting to see the same images in several years time as tragically global warming caused by man will effect us all with devastating consequences. When the world is ruled by men like Trump, I'm afraid it's inevitable. Please save our planet.
This is the most amazing event I have ever been to. For those who enjoy the arts, it's a must. The diversity is astonishing and I'm truly enlightened.
